Electric railway and contractors' bridge in South Harrow

Electric railway and contractors' bridge in South Harrow

L3430. This three rail electric line is thought to form part of the District Line, as it passed over Great Central tracks in South Harrow. Structural support is visible to the left, in the form of woodern platforms and beams. The temporary bridge spanning the cutting may have housed a contractor's line, whilst a more permanent brick and girder structure can be seen in the background.
