Brick arch occupation bridge at South Harefield, Middlesex.

Brick arch occupation bridge at South Harefield, Middlesex.

L3278. This brick arch occupation bridge is believed to be located close to South Harefield on the Great Western & Great Central Railways joint line. Occupation bridges, such as this one, were a common feature of the London Extension, and of the Joint Line. In this image, the bridge appears to be complete, but the embankment on either side still requires some finishing touches.
