Bridge 331 in Loughborough, Leicestershire

Bridge 331 in Loughborough, Leicestershire

L3253. Looking north along the abandoned trackbed crossing Bridge 331, a girder structure built to carry the London Extension over the Grand Union Canal at Loughborough. This bridge currently parks the northern limit of the Great Central Railway Plc's present operations, but plans have been produced that may see trains passing this point in the future. Note the 'PUNKS RULE' message painted on the bridge girders - heritage in itself.
