Girder bridge north of Woodford Station

Girder bridge north of Woodford Station

L2917. Looking east towards bridge no. 496, a plate girder structure that was built to carry the London Extension across Byfield Road. After passing the signal box that is visible above the embankment, trains heading south would enter the large sidings which were situated just north of the Great Central station at Woodford.
