Turf cutting gang at work in Warwickshire

L2762. Thought to have been taken near Staverton Road, Warwickshire, a team of navvies take a momentary break from their work and pose for Newton's camera. Using small wooden tubs being drawn by horses along a muddy narrow gauge track, these men are removing turf.
