Harrow-on-the-Hill Underground station

L2623. A fine view of the Metropolitan Line's Harrow-on-the-Hill Underground station in Greater London. Beneath the famous Underground roundel is the logo of the London & North Eastern Railway. The Great Central Railway (absorbed into the L.N.E.R. in 1923) had been allowed to use most of the existing Metropolitan network for the route into the capital of its London Extension mainline that opened in 1899.
