Printout from The Last Main Line:

Waddesdon Road Station, Buckinghamshire

Waddesdon Road Station, Buckinghamshire

L2621. Photographed looking north east in 1935, this is Waddesdon Road station, one of the five stops on the single track Brill branch. Even by the time this picture was taken, the line was seen, somewhat affectionately, as an antiquated relic of the railway age. It was deemed not to be economically viable, and in November 1935 the line closed.
