Wendover Station

Wendover Station

L2610. This photograph was taken on the approach road to Wendover Station, Buckinghamshire. Wendover was an existing stop on the Metropolitan Railway network that, following completion of the London Extension mainline in 1899, became part of the Metropolitan & Great Central Joint Committee. On the left, a Joint Committee bill board displays details of cheap day returns to London. The station buildings can just be seen over the fenced bank.
