Harrow-on-the-Hill Station

Harrow-on-the-Hill Station

L2552. Photographed in September 1933, this is the Metropolitan Railway's Underground station at Harrow-on-the-Hill. Following completion of the London Extension in 1899, this station had became part of the Metropolitan & Great Central Joint Line. This arrangement still stood by the time this picture was taken, although the Great Central had since become part of the London & North Eastern Railway.
