L2338. Three railwaymen of various rank stand on the platform of the old Great Western Railway station at West Wycombe, circa 1900. In the immediate years after this picture was taken, West Wycombe found itself part of the Great Western & Great Central Joint Line, a scheme built between 1901-05 that provided the Great Central with a faster route into London.
