Quorn & Woodhouse Station, Leicestershire

L2143. Looking north along the platform at Quorn & Woodhouse Station, photographed in March 1978. On the far right of the picture, a train is just departing for Loughborough. Although this is a welcome scene from the Great Central preserved line, it is reminiscent of the 1950s and 1960s, a period of steady decline for a once proud Railway.
