Bridge 343 - Quorn, Leicestershire

Bridge 343 - Quorn, Leicestershire

L2137. A rather haunting image of bridge 343, photographed looking south east in February 1978, less than nine years after the closure of the Railway. Fortunately, this girder bridge lies on the Great Central preserved line, a fact that hopefully ensures the mood of decay and dereliction captured here will never overwhelm this relic of the London Extension.
