L1710. A group of bricklayers pose for Newton's camera, thought to be near Twyford, Buckinghamshire, circa 1897. Walter Scott & Co. of Newcastle upon Tyne was the contractor responsible for building this section of the Railway (Contract No.6, Brackley to Quainton Road).
