Navvies breakfast, Victoria Station site, Nottingham

L1571. Putting the cellar of a demolished property to good use, these navvies are enjoying their breakfast on the site of Nottingham's Victoria Station, circa 1897. The two men would probably have worked for Logan & Hemingway, the contractor responsible for building this section of the Last Main Line (Contract No.1 Annesley to Leake).
