L1468. Girder 'bridge over Soar diversion' (S. W. A. Newton's notes) carrying the Stanford Road, near to the London Extension viaduct at Stanford-on-Soar, Nottinghamshire, circa 1897. To the far right of the photograph, the North end of the viaduct is just visible. This section of the Railway (Contract No. 2, Leake to Aylestone) was constructed by Henry Lovatt of Wolverhampton.
