Bristol Type 175 Britannia

Bristol Type 175 Britannia

G3311. A Bristol Britannia banks steeply to port. These aircraft whilst very well liked did not become the big seller that the company hoped for. The RAF ordered 25 and they remained in service for some time. This example is an RAF Britannia C Mk.1, serial XL636, which was eventually sold to Young Cargo of Belgium, and broken up in 1980.
