The Transport Archive is a rich resource of information relating to history, engineering, physics, mathematics, social science, economics, design, environmental studies, politics and geography.

The aim of the Learning Zone is to encourage and facilitate creative and collaborative learning between different groups and institutions and across subjects.

It will provide facilities to allow registered users to submit information about and links to:

  • Projects either in progress or completed.
  • Project ideas
  • Teachers guides on running projects (lesson plans etc.)

There will also be a facility for registered users to set up, maintain and contribute to threaded discussions.

Information about projects will need to include:

  • School
  • Contact name
  • Contact email
  • Project title
  • Brief description
  • Level
  • Curriculum subjects
  • URL for link
  • Type (project, teachers guide)
  • Status (idea, in progress, completed)
