L1473. Construction of the girder overbridge between Culworth and Moreton Pinkney, Northamptonshire, circa 1897. The rails are not the permanent way, but temporary tracks laid by the contractor to bring men, materials and steam powered machinery to the construction area. This section of the Railway (Contract No. 5, Woodford to Brackley) was built by Walter Scott & Co. of Newcastle upon Tyne.
