T2753. One of the early warehouses which used to be in Castlefield. As is evident from this photograph, the building was situated beneath two of the viaducts which cross the Castlefield area, near to Potato Wharf. This particular photograph shows how barges could travel right into the building to unload goods, with an entrance visible behind the second viaduct pillar. Unfortunately the warehouse was demolished in 1964.
