Granite Bridge spanning a cutting on the Mountsorrel Railway

L2121. This handsome granite structure was built to span a cutting on the Mountsorrel Railway, a branch line constructed and operated by the local quarries that left the London Extension at Swithland Sidings. By the time this picture was taken in March 1978, the bridge had clearly become a favourite spot for people dumping rubbish.
