G1170. West Works factory buildings of Rolls-Royce Bristol in 1991. The new flyover for the A38 trunk road to Gloucester can be seen. The airfield North/South runway and the houses of Patchway beyond are visible. The hangars are the old first war sheds and were of a construction that warranted being kept, this did not stop Rolls-Royce demolishing them all including the old engine division office block shown. The airfield fire station can be seen in front of the hangars.
