G1057. The Bullfinch was designed as a single seat parasol monoplane fighter. Two were built in this form and a third prototype was built as a two seat biplane, the lower wing being positioned to restore the centre of gravity. Neither configuration was ordered into service as both had inherent structural weaknesses. The engine was a Bristol Jupiter III of 425hp. circa 1923
